Hooray for Dad!

Jumpin' Jehosaphat! It's June!

Well, it's technically July.  Sorry; this heat has me crazy.  115 today and hotter this weekend...UGH.

Some good news came this month when we found out that Ralph secured full-time employment.  He will start working in the middle of August for the Clark County School District.  He is teaching at a school called SECTA; it's a magnet school for smart kids and they have a 3D art program.  He gets to work with all kinds of cool toys, like a 3D printer and the latest video game software.  While this is a significant decrease in pay, we are grateful that it will provide us some stability while Ralph finishes his Master's Degree.  Hooray for Dad.

Speaking of Master's Degree, it appears that Ralph is on track to graduate in the Spring of 2014.  Mark your calendars; it's a big day for us!  Earning his Masters opens up the pay scale at the school district in a big way, so this is both necessary and welcomed.  Ralph will continue to work his part-time job teaching at the Art Institute, and I have decent stability with my job at Food Pro.  So it seems, after a whole year living out of the savings account, things may start to turn around in a couple of months.

Liam walks now.  Well, if it's his idea, I should clarify.  He has sea legs, but he is definitely growing more confident with his walking ability.  He loves to run around the house and empty all of the drawers and cupboards.  Yay.  He also loves: Elvis, frozen waffles, fruit, pot roast, the color orange, counting to ten, and, of course, his Grandmas and Grandpas.

Stay cool out there, folks.

15 months at the County Fair

16 months with whatever keeps him out of trouble

Father's Day swimming!

A chip off the old block.

My two favorite guys.
